Our In-Person Code Club offers an enriching experience where children dive into the fascinating world of coding through the Game Dev Club, Minecraft adventures, and VR Gaming. Our Cambridge club is one of 5 locations for in-person coding and fun gaming. We also have clubs in Haverhill, Saffron Walden, Bishops Stortford, and Bury St Edmunds.
Learn coding as a beginner in Scratch
Our mentors help children start their coding adventure by learning the basics of code through code based blocks in scratch. Scratch uses drag & drop code blocks and a visually engaging interface to teach children beginner coding skills and help them gain confidence in tech. Each session includes a game of the week where children can use “guided hacks” to apply their coding skills to change to game.

Use Coding Skills in Minecraft
Our clubs also have Minecraft Educational Edition for children to apply their coding skills to help build worlds in Minecraft. They can choose different mod worlds to change as well as join fun mini games. They’ll unleash their creativity to build whatever they can think of in different landscapes and scenarios.

Relax with Gaming
After learning coding skills, they can relax and play with friends in the “chill zone”. The chill zone has various games to play on the Nintendo Switch including Mario Kart.

Introduce them to VR Gaming
Our in person clubs also have VR Gaming Headsets for children to join in groups and use their strategic skills in Amoung Us VR. They can have fun with friends while also gaining an interest in the latest tech that gaming has to offer!
Our clubs are run by DBS checked, STEM Certified mentors who are happy to assist in any code questions children may have. They guide children through their coding journey, providing support and encouragement every step of the way. We also understand that every child is unique, which is why we tailor our curriculum to suit individual learning styles and abilities. Whether your child is a beginner or already has some coding experience, there's something for everyone at our Code Club.

We run coding clubs for children aged 6 to 16, so the guides here are written by the mentors who teach them rather than by a marketing team. Live online clubs are open to children anywhere in the UK, and our in-person clubs run across Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk.
A live club is one hour a week, in a group of no more than six, with the same DBS-checked, STEM-certified mentor.
Children build their own games rather than working through a set course, starting in Scratch or MakeCode and moving to Python and TypeScript when they are ready. More than a third of our members are autistic or have ADHD, based on what parents tell us when they join.
Mentors write a note on every child after every session, which is how we know when somebody is ready to move up a level or would rather stay where they are. Levels move down as readily as up. Nothing is forced, and staying put is a perfectly good outcome.
In 2026 we were ranked second in the UK in Club Hub UK’s Top 100 Children’s Activity Providers, scored by five independent judges on safeguarding, inclusivity and community impact, and in 2025 we received the Autism Inclusion Award from the National Autistic Society. Over 1,000 children are enrolled.
