Summer At The Code Zone!

With the summer holidays arriving, you might be finding yourself at a loss for things to do. Luckily, we here at The Code Zone have some excellent things lined up to help keep your minds active with loads of fun activities! 

Check out Game Dev Club

First of all, our clubs are continuing to run throughout the summer holidays, so all our members can still tune in every week and have a great time coding excellent games with friends and mentors!

Regular club times a little tricky over the summer? Join our Game Dev Academy, where all the games come out on your dashboard and our mentors are available via the text chat to lend a helping hand!

Take part in a Game Jam 

Game Jams! Over the summer we have two incredible game jams planned, the first of which starting soon on the 28th of July! Not sure what a game jam is? No worries! Our game jams are a time where we let the creativity of our members shine even brighter.

We give them a theme and a few weeks to work on their own games or animations that fit within them. Keep your eyes peeled in clubs and on our socials to learn more about the themes as we announce them!

Explore Minecraft Mod Worlds

If Minecraft is more your style, hop on to Minecraft Mod Worlds, included with every Code Zone membership, and learn how to make minecraft mods while exploring custom built worlds to teach you as much as we can.

Parents and siblings can even play along with our included companion accounts letting everyone experience it all together!

Join our Online Summer Camp 

And finally, something entirely new for 2025, The Game Dev Summer Camp! This week long experience offers you a load of fun activities, with a new game to hack and mod every single day, culminating in a Game Jam on the final day. 

This comes with all our usual mentor support via the text chat and video messages to help you to make the best possible games! We'll be running the camps on August 4th to August 8th, and August 11th to August 15th. Click here to sign up for Game Dev Summer Camp.
